Forums Suggestion

  • It would be nice if you could add a column to the forums pages that display how many ‘reads’ a particular thread has received. This will let posters know what type of attention their post is getting.

This is a common feature in most other forums. Just my 2 cents.

… “but what will knowing that actually change?” will be the reply from the bbPress folks. 😉

Now, if you’re looking for threads to help, you could start with the “No Replies” link at the top. Those are definitely good candidates!

“Now, if you’re looking for threads to help…”

heh, good one. I’m such a wordpress noob, it’s not funny. Maybe someday I’ll actually be able to help someone else out, but that day is long off Im afraid.

I’m just ADD about checking back on my posts – and I like to see some type of ‘progress’. I can’t be the only one like this, can I?

On any page in the forums, check the top right corner for the “View Your Profile” link. That’ll show you your threads.

And hey, anyone can help! Check out some of the threads, read and learn and I bet you’ll see some that you can answer.
