# Forums and Integration

 * I’ve been wanting to put a forum up, but finding a way to integrate one seems
   so complicated.
 * I’ve tried phpBB, but I cannot get it to integrate properly. So I’m wondering
   what can I use that will integrate properly (users and registration) with WordPress
   3.0? I’ve searched and searched for hours with no luck.

 * simple:press was really simple for me….. at least getting it running
 * it took me a bit to be happy with the styling, but setup and integration was 
   easy

 * I’ll try Simple:Press I guess. I don’t really like the way it looks, it looks
   nothing like the more popular forum software (phpBB, vBulletin, IPB). I don’t
   mind paying for a license for the paid for ones either, but I just want to be
   sure I can integrate the users, so far nothing has assured me of that.

 * well technically, simple:press can look however you want.
 * I definitely didn’t like the way it looked either, took me quite a bit to totally
   get it changed
 * but the non plugin based forums, even the big ones….. I had nothing but problems
   with bridges to WP using them and finally ditched separate forum software….too
   many problems each time one of the softwares got upgraded, etc….

 * Ok, I’m messing with Simple:Press now. As long as it’s not overly complicated
   to change things it’ll be good. I’ve used IPB and that was simple enough, phpBB
   is a mess though, lol.
