 * Is there a way to use the forum script that you use for these support forums?
   Did you guys custom code it? I’d love something this simple to put on my site
   as opposed to IBB or phpBB, so is this available for other people to use?

 * google for MiniBB… that’s the forum software used here. But yes, it has been 
   highly customized.
