Normally it is due to cookie problem, i see that as not logged it not happen, so i will try to reproduce asap and resolve detecting and fixing the issue.

Have you try out to clean up doing logout, then re-login? Cookie domain settings seems to be ok

ops i do not see another reply i done 1 min before, where i said: it is normally a cookie issue, try to logout/login.

I will try to detect when it happen, resolving the issue automatically.
So this need to be fixed.

and now i do not see another i done 10 sec ago, about the fact i registered into your site and all was going smooth and fine … wow hat happen to WP forum?

Thanks! for the replay. I know it works better if you’re not logged in 🙂 but I don’t want to logout and clear the cookies all the time :). Thanks for a great plugin.

Could you describe steps that leads to this behavior, if possible, that you may have figure out?
    Thank you!

p.s i mean something like: i login here, then i go to this page, then i click into etc …

I login to my site using (LOGIN). To enter my phpBB forum I go to my menu (MORE/h4ckboard).

I tested different browsers trying to enter my phpBB while logged in but I get the same loop. Everything works fine while logged out.

So, i’m with axew3 user into your site, logging in out every ways, accessing forum, login phpBB, wp, changing passwords … all work fine so, or axew3 is lucky, that is not or course, or there is something wrong with this user you try to use.
    Stupid questions in mind:

is this user banned or deactivated in phpBB?

Sorry but, which iframe code are you using?
Are you on last plugin version?

    You should use this then:
    https://www.axew3.com/w3/2020/01/phpbb-wordpress-template-integration-iframe-v5/

    ???

use the v5 iframe code, it resolve practically all old iframe problems (for what known at moment, even still some need to be improved, it should work like a charm)

hm, that odd. I registered a new test account and everything works fine. But when I use my admin account it loops :O

admin account in WP, it is the installer ID1?
Have you then the UID 2 installer in phpBB existing?
If Not you should activate option
Exclude ID 1 to be linked into plugin top options.

    ???

p.s It seem to be just a problem on page-forum and related js code, and into js overall_footer.html code. Substantially, the user is recognized as logged in one side, but the js code do not receive or pass correct value, so one say OK! logged, the other say, NOT logged, then you fall in loop.

P.s you say you used different browsers and you have the same issue with same user admin. Beside the above:

admin account in WP, it is the installer ID1?
Have you then the UID 2 installer in phpBB existing?
If Not you should activate option
Exclude ID 1 to be linked into plugin top options.

have you try to LOGOUT the corresponding admin UID2 in phpBB, then CLEAN UP COOKIE board, via link on phpBB bottom, clean board cookies?

If a cookie valid overall the domain has been released in wp side for phpBB, but there is the old one that may is not available overall the domain, early released by phpBB before integration, and still existent/available in phpBB, you should may experience exactly the above.

    Let know!

We should have cover then, any and all possibilities.

    I did the,

admin account in WP, it is the installer ID1?
Have you then the UID 2 installer in phpBB existing?
If Not you should activate option
Exclude ID 1 to be linked into plugin top options.

and it seems to work now 🙂 I also cleared the cookies on my phpBB board.

Thanks tons, and for a great support!
