# Forum message change

 * The message “You are not permitted to reply on this forum” which appears at the
   bottom of the forum pages needs to provide a little more instruction to the user.
   We made the minor change in the functions.php file for the plugin to “Please 
   login or become a free member in order to respond” instead.
 * However, every time an upgrade occurs the change needs to be reapplied. Is there
   support for a ‘child plugin’ with this plugin? Or is there a recommended method
   to achieve the same? Thanks in advance.
