# Forum Integration Issue

 * I’m having trouble integrating any forum plugin to this theme.
 * BuddyPress does work in some instances, but every time I try to create a forum
   page, I get the error:
 * “This theme was built for the WordPress full-site-editing feature. If you use
   WordPress below version 5.9, you need to install and activate the Gutenberg plugin
   to make it work.”
 * I’m using the latest version of WordPress and have updated all of my plugins.
 * I’ve tried putting in the shortcode in the Gutenverse editor, but when I use 
   the shortcode element, it simply spits out the shortcode itself on the live site.
   Is there a plugin I’m missing? Or some editing to the core theme that I can do?
 * I love this theme and I really don’t want to have to change it to use another
   just because of this forum hiccup.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

 * We will investigate the issue about compatibility with forum plugin.
 * Regarding shortcode, do you use a block called “Shortcode”?.
    This block is needed
   if you want to put shortcode on gutenberg editor. Inside the editor, you can 
   add new block and then search for “Shortcode” block. Then you can put the shortcode
   inside the block.
