# FormMaker Changed?

 * I have a form within FormMaker which has worked for many years but seems to have
   started producing two issues.
 * Firstly text fields are now inserted into the database with a single quote at
   the start and end.
 * Secondly the date selected is not being entered into the database at all.
 * I am using the SQL mapping feature which produces –
   INSERT INTO `wp_news` (`heading`,`
   news`, `link`, `picture`, `enddate`) VALUES (“{3}”, “{4}”, “{5}”, “{6}”, “{2}”)
   
   
   But that is also unchanged for some time.
 * I don’t believe the underlying database table has changed as there are other 
   actions which write news stories into this from other input and continue to work.
 * Has something changed and how might I fix it?
