Support » Plugin: Forminator Payment, Quiz and Contact Form Plugin » Forminator in an Elementor Popup

    Hi there,

I want to create a feedback form. One of the key pieces of information I need is the page name from which the form is submitted.

To make that possible I need to make the form an Elementor Popup in the footer of the page.

Unfortunately, Forminator and Elementor do not appear to play well together and the result is that while the popup opens, the form does not appear in it. If I use an Elementor form it works. If I put the Forminator form on a separate page that works, but I lose the referring page info and have to create a picklist. That isn’t a great UX because there are so many pages which makes a long picklist. Plus I have to remember to edit the list every time I add a page. I also send the form to Trello. So an Elementor form is out of the question.

Please could you look at making Forminator work in Elementor popups?

    Hello @paulbarrett1952

    I trust all is well!

Indeed the Forminator form is not working within the Elementor’s pop-up, our developers already working on the integration of both plugins 🙂

The Forminator allows tracking from where the form was being submitted as well. The form allows collecting information like Page/Post’s Title, page/post’s ID and site’s URL.

To achieve this please edit the form and add a Hidden Field, please see the screenshot:

Please edit this filed, and under the “Default Value” drop-down, please add what information you wish to collect. Please see this screenshot:

    Hope this helps!

Thanks. In this instance I created the form using Elementor Pro’s form widget, and what a lot of effort it was too. So much more complicated than Forminator.

So I look forward to the new release that contains the ability to use a Forminator form in an Elementor Popup!

Hoping for good news – has this been resolved?

    Hello @drokkon

This isn’t resolved yet but we can provide some custom CSS to surpass that.

As this topic is pretty old though, please create a new one from here:

Anything new? I’m also having a hard time with a popup.
