# Formatting the Post URL

 * I’m migrating from one server to another and I want to make sure all of my post
   URLs are the same.
 * On the original server the post URLs are formatted as /yyyy/mm/post-title.html.
   On the new server, URLs are formatted as /first-category/title/.
 * I want it to be just like the URLs on the original server.

 * You should only need to make the permalik settings on your new site match what
   they are set to on your old site.

 * Never mind. I figured it out. I found the Permalinks menu in WordPress.

 * In the admin area you go to ‘Settings -> Permalinks’ and make sure that the settings
   there are the same.
