I’m not very well versed in CSS or HTML but I’m pretty sure this is theme specific. I’m trying to figure out some content formatting adjustments. I am trying to figure out 2 things. I don’t necessarily need both at once but more one or the other.

1- How to create an indentation with new paragraphs. (Like what you would do in a basic word processing program)

2- How to reduce the size between two paragraphs. Or the height of page breaks.

I have figured out that if you hit shift+enter it removes the large space between paragraphs which is good but without indentations it becomes a wall of text. (I’ve tried to manually just add 5 spaces in the beginning of paragraphs but it only seems to stay on the first)

I tried to use the web inspector to locate the p area but failed. Like I said- not very good with css. Any advice would be SO appreciated. I feel like I’m sort of backed up against a wall in terms of being able to start adding content without having the ability to do one or the other of these.

  • Hi there,

Some of these are issues related to the WordPress WYSIWYG editor. Make doesn’t include styling for indentation of paragraphs either. And you can’t change the line height without editing the CSS.

Since you don’t want to mess with CSS, you might be best served to find a plugin to help you have more control over how your text is rendered.

    Good luck!
