# Formatting issues

 * When I use the plugin, instead of the page displaying the authors name, it displays
   all the code that should be on the page, such as this: `<a href="http://newsroom.
   seattletimes.com/picturethis/byline/bettina-hansen/" rel="tag">Bettina Hansen
   </a>`
 * Here is an example: [http://newsroom.seattletimes.com/picturethis/2013/12/06/a-breath-of-cold-air/](http://newsroom.seattletimes.com/picturethis/2013/12/06/a-breath-of-cold-air/)
 * Any idea how a help it perform correctly?

 * This happens when the theme uses some custom code for displaying authors/author
   links.
 * If you can find this chunk of code in your theme, you will have to replace it
   with the WP function the_author()

 * Apologies for an unrelated question on the same thread, but is their an option
   to insert the word “and” appropriately into the display? Or are you planning 
   on building that in?

   for inserting “and” in a series of names.

 * Hi there – I am having the same issue that dgawlowski was having but I cannot
   find how to fix it using the Genesis framework. Is there any way you can help?

 * Hi Matt, I sent you an email – I didn’t see your response until just now – We
   had a bit of an emergency in our family and it took me away from dev work for
