Formatting Featured Image Caption

I’ve noticed that Hueman (or at least Hueman Pro) treats captions on featured images differently than it does on “regular” images.

On our website’s front page, the caption on the featured image is BLASTED across the image in BIG, BOLD LETTERS at the top of the page!

We’d prefer it to appear in the nice, subtle way that captions appear elsewhere in pages and posts – below the image in plain text.

I have dug around a bit but can’t quite get the featured image caption to mimic “regular” captions.

Any hints or pro tips would be appreciated.
