• Hi guys,
Is there any simple way of formatting the download link for a purchased digital product in Woocommerce. A lot of my clients are missing the link as it’s not very prominent.
Could you advise a way to either make the link more prominent or to send them an email with the link in it etc.. As it is, it needs a tweak.
    Thanks
    Geoff

    Hello. Anyone?

What is the point of using WooCommerce if there is NO support?

Seriously. Is there no support at all offered here? Am I in the wrong place? Or is everyone simply ignoring me, hoping I will go away?

This is a community support forum. No need to rage.

Emails do contact the links in a similar display to the order received page. They are output from here: https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/blob/528d6575edd94940ac441e784a0529468cc4ac62/includes/abstracts/abstract-wc-order.php#L2134

You could change the styling with CSS to make this stand out more.

    Thank you.
I’m not sure what you mean by your comment that there is no need to rage. Yes it’s a community support forum. I get it. We can’t expect any help except from the goodness of people’s hearts. But over a week of absolutely no comments?

So what’s the alternative? I can’t find any support on the official WooCommerce site. It seems unless I’m a WooThemes customer (and I have no need of the woo themes) then I can’t get any support for WooCommerce.
Please correct me if I’m wrong. Where can you get support for WooCommerce?

Does your support extend to letting me know which css to target?

This is the place for support if you’re a non-customer. But its community ran. woothemes.com is for customers of plugins + themes.

Anyhow about your issue (which is a customisation), view the page with the links on it and use the browser’s inspector to look up the tags and selectors. Chrome/firefox you right click and click ‘inspect’ and it will pull up a view of the HTML.

Then you can add styles to your theme CSS or via a plugin such as Jetpack which has a CSS editor.
