    hi all, i added some custom text into my header area, in place of where the search option usually is. you can see it on my site via the link below, although it’s hard to view against the dark background (it’s located to the right of the big logo):

    http://d e v ynconstruction.com/wp (spaces added to my URL to hopefully prevent search engines from indexing my site with this thread!)

    the problem is that i can’t find a way to style this particular text… obviously it’s really hard to view with the default color (against my dark grey background) so i was looking around the theme options but only see options for styling the body text and not this header text.

    any ideas for what i can add to my custom css to alter this? just changing it to white would be great, although it would also be ideal to enlarge the text as well.

    thanks in advance.

  • You can make it white by adding color: white; to the table CSS — but that’s pretty general — so any other tables in the site would have white text as well. Alternatively, add a class or id to the table and use that as your CSS selector.

    Oh, looks like you would need to add this too:

    table strong {
       color: white;
    }

    thanks a lot!

    added the following to my custom css

    table strong {
       color: white;
    }

    table {
       color: white;
    }

    and it’s now white. how would i enlarge this text? i am a noob with css

    thanks again!

    Just use font-size: 20px; – obviously change the number to what you want but 20 may be close.

    awesome, thank you
