    any ideas?

    The only work around I can get is to include enough words in the excerpt to reach the bottom of the image – but that’s not always suitable.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Really sorry for the delay.

    Great holiday went away, then viral fever & cough came to me. So I wasn’t around in web.

    How about adding the CSS file to your site:

    .cat-post-item {
    min-height: 270px !important;
}

    Brilliant – I added that code to category-posts/cat-posts.css and it works a treat.
