I’ve got a long post so I broke it up using the <!--nextpage--> code since the post shows-up blank because it’s too long.

But that’s not quite the issue here. The problem is that even though I’ve used the <pre> code to format the post text correctly the text jumps in size for no apparent reason. This size increase appears when I view the post in Safari, Firefox and Chrome on the Mac. And when I go the the secondary or tertiary pages it has lost the <pre> formatting.

Do I need to enter that again after the <!--nextpage--> code? And what’s going on with the jump in text size? When I view the source it appears fine.

    Here’s the page in question:

  • Okay, fixed it. The body copy absolutely must have the closing tag </pre> before each <!--nextpage--> tag and a new <pre> tag after it.
