Formation Custom Home Page modification

  • I am using the custom homepage page template for the Formation theme and would like to add a 4th column with a new icon, header and text just like the other three. I changed the <div class=”col span_1_of_3″> to <div class=”col span_1_of_4″> but the 4 column is underneath the first row instead of adjacent to the third column.

    Also, how do I eliminate the white space or gap between the header image (woman in front of skyline photo) and the dark grey rectangle below it? I changed the background color to the dark grey but the white space is still there. The homepage shown in Formation theme demo does not have this.

    Site url = http://188.304.myftpupload.com/ Thank you.

    Hello,

    to remove the gap on the header add the following style:

    .header-image img {
    margin-bottom: -10px;
    }

    You will have to play around with the paddings and margins to fit in your 4th column.

    Hello:

    The CSS to remove the white gap worked beautifully, thanks.

    Regarding the homepage header text, icons, etc. – going from 3 cols to 4, I used the Customize option to add the icons and text so not sure where to 1) modify the cell paddings and margins and 2) add the new 4th column text and icon.
    Thanks.
