Support » Plugin: TablePress » format portions of the table description

    I would like to add italics to some words within a lengthy table description and so created a custom CSS setting like this:
    .tablepress .italics {
    color: red;
    font-style: italic;
    }
    and then add the
    <span class=”italics”>my red italic text</span>
    within the text. But this does not work in the table description, but does work when applied to a table cell text.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    You are very close. Your code only targets the .italics class when inside a table. To also target it in the table description, you can use

    .tablepress-table-description .italics,
    .tablepress .italics {
      color: red;
      font-style: italic;
    }

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Great thanks Tobias – works well now. And you have created a great plugin – many thanks too!
