format headline text in SidePost?

  • This widget works fine now, but I’d like to be able to go bold and larger in the posts’ headlines. Possible?

  • as far as I can tell there’s no specific formatting on the most of the contents there… have a look at the style.css file in the plug-in folder, but I wasn’t able to get any results with that.

    Change this on the style.css :

    #sidebar ul li.widget_sideposts ul li, #sidebar ul li.widget_sideposts ul a {
    	color: #fa6400;
    	font-size: 13px;
    	padding-top: 10px;
    	font-weight: bold;

    This is the titles format.

    I changed this but nothing happened. I’m thinking that my theme’s (Atahualpa 3.4.2) css is overriding this individual widgets. Does that seem probable?

    Yes, it could be the theme to override it. Different themes can do things related to styles a bit different, specially when related to widgets styling.

    There are some themes that set different styles for widgets different from the default WordPress styles. This is a normal theme developer option. You just have to find out how the theme styles the widgets and style SidePosts depending on this.
