formaal E.FancyBox overnemen bij .swf flash

    Elders heb ik gelezen dat de aanroep van fancybox kan voorzien worden van gewenste formaten, mits in de class aanroep tussen {} ofwel krulhaken.
    Is me nog niet gelukt.

    Het oproepen van een SWF gaat wel degelijk prima, net als inlineteksten. html en natuurlijke foto-vergrotingen.

    Ik heb van een aantal foto’s een slider gemaakt met als eindprodukt een flash. Bij de aanmaak van swf is formaat gesteld op 450 breed bij 338 hoog. Daarbij is wel gebruik gemaakt van foto’s van verschillende hoogte bij gelijke breedte = 400 px.
    De fancybox maakt dan een raam van 680 bij 496, daarbij
    is de hoogste foto 587 bij 496.
    Stel dat fancybox een testrun maakt en de foto’s meet, geen idee, zou ik me voor kunnen stellen dat fancybox dan een raam ‘pakt’ van de hoogste hoogtewaarde.
    Kan er dan ook optie komen, die juist de grote formaten terug schaalt naar de laagste waarde en dan uitkomt bij het swf formaat ?

    Evt kan ik de swf per mail toesturen. Nog zonder inpak 435 kB.

    Ik lees op diverse plekken dat er een versie 2.0 is, maar op even zovele plaatsen dat die nog ‘gaat komen’.
    Is concreet wanneer, waar, hoe ? En geldt de aankoop per persoon of per websie ?

    Hi dutchguru,

    First of all, about this plugin and about FancyBox: The plugin Easy FancyBox is a WordPress plugin (obviously) that integrates FancyBox into any WordPress site. I made this plugin but FancyBox itself is a script that has nothing to do with WordPress and was not developed by me. The version that is used in the plugin can be found on http://fancybox.net and is has been released under a licence that is allowed inside any plugin hosted on WordPress.org. But there is also a newer version of FancyBox, called fancyBox2 (by the same developer as the original script) available on http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/ but the licence that it uses is not allowed on WordPress.org. This means that I cannot upgrade the script in my plugin to the newer version… At least, not in this plugin. There will, however, be coming another plugin but it will probably not be hosted on WordPress.org.

    Now about flash and image frame sizes in FancyBox: Image size will always be ‘detected’ right on the moment the image is loaded into the frame and the frame will adapt accordingly (that’s how FancyBox has been designed) but SWF size cannot be detected since SWF’s do not have a size. They normally scale to any size you give them when embedding… That is why there is a dedicated Flash section on Settings > Media. Enable it and you can set your preferred frame size there.

    The upgrade question is clear …. ok, almost. 🙂

    The SWF is also solved, I knew the dedicated section in media, but at the time I didn’t knew, my software for slideshow in swf was capable ( depending on the template ) to store the pictures outside the swf. With that knowledge a workaround was made 😉

    See forward to the next generation, perhaps a simple slideshow without starting picture but including Ken Burns effects ? Answer has no prio.
