    Hi Everyone

I'm looking for a (plugin) form that a customer can fill in that will notify me when a form has been filled in, and create a draft post. The customer should be able to upload images and the form should be strict in the content filled.

So im looking for something complex I Know! And to be honest I'd rather not have to pay!

    Any help appreciated

Well, the form bit is fairly standard these days, and I used to use Contact Form 7 before I created my own.

The post bit is more complicated though, as your requirements are fairly bespoke (although certainly not complicated). My suggestion would be to perhaps edit a form plugin, and add the routine to create the draft post after the form has been submitted (search Google for wp_insert_post(), and maybe wp_set_object_terms() depending on your exact requirements).

Yeah i've used contact form 7 before on a different site and to be honest i didn't like it. I'm looking for a more ascetically pleasing form, i.e less css work, and a bit more wysiwyg.

Another option would be to use Gravity Forms. Although the plugin itself isn't free, it can do some quite powerful forms including user submission.

The following post gives an example of using Gravity Forms along with Custom Post Types.

I also found this other post that may be helpful as well. It makes mention of Gravity Forms along with a couple of other suggestions.

Ahortin, any idea's if Gravity-Forms has a option to post to draft for admin approval?

Quite expensive at a yearly price.

Within the Gravity Forms section of that second link that I mentioned, it states the following...

"Gravity Forms has a wonderful set of advanced fields that let users submit a contact form, but it goes straight into a draft post for approval by an admin"

For a single site license the cost is only US$39. This provides 1 year of support and updates. After that year, if you don't renew your membership, you're still able to use the plugin. It just means that you wont be able to get any new updates.
