    Hi,
This is an elementor page.. I used the shortcode for the form. I put the shortcode in an Elementor shortcode block.

The page loads directly to the spot in the middle where I placed the page, instead of the top. Seems there is some code in the main form that makes the page load where that ID is or something.

Is there a setting or a code snippet I can use? Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I think this might be where the code is that is making the page load at the form location rather than the top of the page… https://freed.media/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Screen-Shot-2020-07-23-at-10.41.38-PM.png

    Hey @jayalove!

Thanks for reporting this here. That’s a bug, for sure. Here’s the backstory on it:

When we first launched the multistep forms, one of the first things we noticed was that when forms were customized to be very long (via content or additional functionality like our tributes add-on) people clicking through the forms were confused when the form essentially disappeared on click.

So we added in the functionality to scroll back to the top of the form at each step.

That works great, except for in cases where the first step is disabled (as it is on your site).

I’ve looped in the development team on this, and we’ll definitely get a fix out for that issue. Usually issues like this that have a workaround (enable the first step) will get attention in a few weeks. I’ve added you as someone waiting on this fix.

Thanks again for reporting this. You’re helping us to make GiveWP better for everyone!

I’m late replying here, but wanted to make sure everyone saw that the fix for this has been released! You can now use multistep forms without the first step and it won’t auto-scroll.

    Thanks!
