  • I’m facing the same issue, last version of the plugin and last version of wordpress.
Takes really a lot of time when I use blank form (form from scratch) and add 12 sections.
Was decently fast with few sections.

    Hosting: netsons.

I just noticed the browser (opera on mac) is using large amount of memory (3GB) for the tab containing the form builder.

Same exactly issue. I have 2.9.40 before, when I update to last wordpress one of my large form just very slow and stuck on processing. I check with NF support, that guy just accidentally update my form to the newest one(I’m using the old very cus I have customize code to the form database), but the problem still exist, nothing changed. It’s giving a lot of headache since I have a lot of customers paid on my website daily. So disappoint.

same issue here – I’m a new user of NF using latest versions and performance of Form builder is below expectations to say the least.

Yeah, same here. Like, majorly. And not just with the form builder, but with the site as a whole while it’s active, and crazily enough also with OTHER sites on the same server. I’m using NinjaForms (free), and it isn’t just slow with the immediate site I’m visiting, but it seems to choke up other builds too somehow. I have a ticket in to support right now (with my host) to see if there’s possibly else causing the slowness, but I don’t know… the timing is just too much of a crazy coincidence. As soon as I do anything with NinjaForms, be it submitting forms on the site, or making modifications, everything seems to freak out, far and wide. Again, maybe it’s just a freak coincidence. Maybe.

I’ve actually had some plugins do that before, where they spin out of control and weigh down the whole of the server… maybe that’s happening here? I dunno…

I’m having the same issue with NF version 3.1.2 and WP version 4.7.5; after adding about 6 elements to a new form, the builder becomes so slow that it becomes unusable and eventually crashes. This isn’t the first time that I’ve had this issue, and across different hosts and builds. I’ve even tried rolling back to 2.x but the import form function is completely broken, I used to enjoy using NF before NF3 but I think I’ll stick to using their other major competitor going forward.
