Hello, I’ve failed to figure out why the form on my website is not submitting. All the configs look okay to me and no error messages. I am not very familiar with CF7 though so I’d really appreciate if someone could check it out and point me in the right direction.
I have a feeling it’s something very simple that I’m missing but I’m not expert enough figure out what it is.
    Thanks in advance!

  • I tested your form.

The continually spinning arrow is a common sign of a JavaScript conflict with your WP theme or one of the other plugins you are using. In your case it could be caused by the Google Map you are adding on that page.

Switch temporarily (nothing will be lost when you switch back) to a WP default theme & disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7 to see if the problem goes away.

If it does you can switch back to your theme & re-activate each plugin one by one to see when the problem occurs.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to look at it.
Looks like it’s my WP theme conflicting.
Switched to a default theme and then disabled all plugins except CF7 like you suggested. Then I tested it and it worked!
I then switched back to my theme with all plugins still disabled and tested, spinning arrow, but it delivered…

Found this article http://tutorialfaq.com/infinite-spinning-arrow-in-contact-form-7-plugin/ and disabled JS in CF7 and it worked! It now sends and loads the success message properly. Thanks again!

You should also add each plugin 1 by 1 to see where the continually spinning arrow problem actually occurs – you are losing a lot of important CF7 functionality by disabling CF7’s JavaScript.

I had the continuously spinning arrow, although the form was sending, and it was not a plugin or theme issue – it turned out to be because I had been advised by the host to upgrade to php 7.3.5 to increase the performance. When I reverted down to php 7.0.33 it worked again.

also it needed wordpress upgrading to 5.2 from 5.1.1

Hmmm… hadn’t thought about changing the PHP version. Thanks @charlotte23.
I’ll re-enable JS and try to change the php version and see if it works.

@buzztone, The constant spinning happens with all other plugins disabled. So I reckon it is not a plugin issue but rather a theme issue. Will restore JS and see if the php version helps. Thanks.
