Form not rendering and activation message still present

    Hi, I’ve created a form and used the shortcode but can’t get it to work. There is a message on my dashboard “You are just one step away – Complete “WP Easy Pay” Activation Now” which I have followed the link but can’t find anything further to do to activate. I have created a Square account and tried to follow the documentation, but am now stuck.

    Currently using Brave (Chrome based) browser, latest WP install & all plugins/theme updated.

    I have screenshots if they’re any use…

    Any help much appreciated please.

    Hi @angelak13,
    Please make sure that your square account is connected.
    If you are on the test mode please make sure that the Sandbox API keys are filled in.
    You can find your Sandbox API keys in the Square Developer Dashboard.
    If they are not filled in you will see the form not showing the credit card fields to enter the card details as it is currently happening on your page.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I have the Sandbox API keys filled in, as the screenshot shows, and have connected the account. I’ve re-entered to double-check, but still no change.

    Hi @angelak13 ,
    Can you please confirm that you are in live mode or you are in the test mode ?
    Also have you selected the Square location ?

    In Test mode and location selected yes thank you. Have tried it in live mode too, also just the same.

    Hi,

    Thank you for help so far.

    I have updated and it now accepts input. I input the test card info: Test Card: Card number🡪4716381512382830 / CVV🡪 909 / ZipCode🡪44101
    There was no test expiry date so just made one up.

    I submitted the info and the icon just kept turning as if it was processing but then did nothing. I have a destination page entered on the form but nothing happens.

    (Also tried this in live mode with the same error)

    Please use these test card details to test the payments.

    Test Card Number: 4111 1111 1111 1111
    CVV: 111
    Exp Date: Any Valid Expiry Date
    Postal Code: 11414

    I’ve tried those test details with 02/22 and I’m afraid it’s still not working. The ‘progress’ icon just keeps turning, nothing else happens.

    Thanks – I had a ‘shields up’ on my browser which I removed and it worked! I’ve tried it live, also with success!
