  • Hi there, a client contacted me to tell me that the contact form on their site was no longer sending emails after the form was successfully completed and displayed the “message sent” note. I did check with them to see if it had gone into spam/junk folder and they said they’d had nothing.

    I log into the site and updated the form to send form submissions to my email address and then submitted a test form to myself, which came through just fine. I set it back to one of the client’s email addresses (different from the original) and phoned to see if they’d received anything after i submitted another test form and they still hadn’t. Could this be a firewall issue? They use Outlook to receive emails.

  • It does sounds like something at the client’s end. Have they removed all filters within Outlook?
