I have set my Formidable Form to 50% wide and it looks great on the desktop but when I look at the mobile view it’s very narrow.

I set the form view at 100% and added some padding and the mobile view looked great but then the desktop was too wide. I tried to control the width of the desktop by adding the shortcode to a group, but it didn’t make a difference.

How can I solve this issue?

    All the best

    Hi Georgie,

It sounds like you need to place your form inside a container/section on your page. How this works depends on the page builder/theme you are using. The container/section will take up 50% of large screens, but on smaller screens, these containers will stack vertically, taking 100% of the screen width.

Your form should be set to take up 100% of the container.

I would recommend reaching out to your theme developer, or the support team for the page builder that you use for the specifics of how to do this.

    Best regards,

Fabulous, that worked a treat, thank you!!

Now I just need to change the colour of the confirmation box from the light green to my theme. Do you know what the CSS code is for this? Just thought I’d ask.

    Hi Georgie,

This styling can be changed without CSS using the built in form styler. You should look under the “Form Messages” tab: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/visual-form-styler/
