Form Error after Cleantalk Update – Causing Users the listed as spammers

Form Error after Cleantalk update – users cannot submit form successfully. Users then try to submit the form again and are then listed as spammers. Reverted to previous CleanTalk version to fix the issue.

We’ve fixed this issue. Please update the anti-spam plugin to the current 5.157.2 version.

Reverted back to Version 5.157.1… it was updating to Version 5.157.2 that stopped the form from submitting for us.
We need to check your anti-spam logs to find reason of blocks.

“*** Forbidden. Contains contacts. Username seems to be spammer. ***”

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this thread as “resolved”.
If you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.As noted, I’m not the account holder, my web developer is. She’s back at work now, and investigating the logs, etc. In the meantime, I’ve switched to a different antispam plugin and the form is now working.

All well-known issues were fixed in 5.157.2 version already. We need to know your website and form where the issue persists.

Needed to choose Advanced settings —> option Complete Deactivation. Then deactivate plugin. Then reactivate… after this was able to install update again and now the form works as expected and now doesn’t freeze / spin or say field not completed when everything has been completed correctly.
