Forking WordPress for Static Mobile Home Page

    I want to know if it is possible to load a different static home page when someone visits the site using a mobile device.

    I have a static home page specified in the dashboard, and I am using a specific home page template. This page looks okay on a desktop browser.

    I would like to load a different static home page for mobile devices using its own page template.

    Is this possible?

    By ‘different’, you desire the same content to ‘display’ well on smaller screens?

    The key to this in 2015 is known as Responsive Web Design which requires (most easily) finding a theme that displays well on large screens all the way down to small screens: A WordPress Responsive Theme, is what many WP users look for and implement today.

    Too many exist to make a recommendation, but please review what I included here in italics in your search for an answer.
