Forgotten username

    Two-part query: is there any way to determine my username and password without going the phpMyAdmin route? I can’t begin to understand that stuff; and if the answer is no is there any way to regain control of my domain name so that I can start over again?

    Your blogs username by default is admin. So have you tried that? If you changed it and don’t rememebr what you changed it to, you have two options:

    1. phpMyAdmin
    I know you said you don’t want to, but here’s a really easy to follow guide on recovering passwords, it also lets you find out your username.

    2. Start over
    Delete your db, and start again by reinstalling WP.
