• We’ve had a large number of customers in the last couple weeks on our membership site tell us that when they click forgot password and request a password reset email, they never receive that email. Could this be due to a bug in the recent update?

    This is becoming a bigger issue that seems to be affecting more and more of our users with every passing day. Can anyone speak to this issue?

    When I disable plugin everything works fine 🙂

    Our host was able to help with this since the plugin developer didn’t respond. I’ll take a sec to respond here in case it can help anyone in the future.

    We were using PHP mailer which is apparently not a good protocol in terms of sending email. Installing a plugin ‘WP SMTP’ will force SMTP on outgoing emails. SMTP is a better protocol in terms of email deliverability.
