Hi. I use the “ajax login and registration modal popup” plugin and I want to make a restriction for “forgot password”. The user pushes the button as many times as he wants, but there are no restrictions. I installed the wordfence plugin but it doesn’t work properly. I need the plugin that makes a restriction like that. I searched a lot but couldn’t find it. Does anyone knows? Thanks..

I am not aware of a plugin that does that. Since you asked this question to the AJAX Login and Registration modal popup plugin author and the suggestion to use the Wordfence plugin did not work for you, I recommend searching for a viable plugin to do this here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/.

    Hi,
Here’s a robust plugin that limits the number of login attempts – https://wordpress.org/plugins/limit-login-attempts-reloaded/

While it does not specifically restrict the forgot password option, it does allow you to restrict login attempts per IP address. It seems like it might work.
