Support » Installing WordPress » ‘foreach’ error in /wp-includes/classes.php when upgrading to WP 2.2

  • Resolved besserwiss

I just did an automatic upgrade to WP 2.2 with Fantastico. At first it botched all my icelandic characters, but I found a support thread that fixed that (by deleting define(CHARSET) command from wp-config.

So now my characters are showing fine, but I get this error message at the top of my page (and on admin page ‘Manage posts’):

“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/besserwi/public_html/blogg/wp-includes/classes.php on line 88”

.. and every internal link I click(comments and static pages) now leads to my front page.

    Can anyone help, please?

    Jóhannes Þ.

  • Resolved it finally. It was a problem with the Permalink structure. Just had to go to Options->Permalinks and update the Permalink structure and all is well again. Simple solution to a problem that looked really ugly.
