• Hello everyone,
I have a problem, I just put up Itheme security (which I find great), but by turning on (Dashboard / Low Priority / Force SSL for Login)

I locked myself out of my admin, I just saw (too late) that my server does not have ssl certificate > I now redirect to https

Can you give me a walking track in a problem?
Is it be possible to go back? Or make the change on the FTP?

    Thank you for your help
    François

  • Hi

    I’m having the same issue

1- try to disable the plugin via FTP by renaming the plugin folder.

2- login via the default url : wp-login.php

3- rename back the plugin via FTP

4- disable ssl option in the settings section of the plugin

    Hi

    1) connect via FTP then open wp-config.php
    2) change “FORCE_SSL_LOGIN” to “FORCE_SSL_ADMIN”
    3) save.

    This solved it for me.

Change notes for this setting can be found codex.wordpress.org/Version_4.0#External_Libraries just above External_Libraries in the Deprecated section.
