Force ssl access

  • While I can probably pull this off with apache rewrite rules, it would be great if there was an option to force SSL access to the blog when I’m logged in. Currently, if I go to https://foo, and login, I’m redirected to an unencrypted page. I’d like to do all my work over SSL.
    Thanks.

Yes, I too am looking how to do this. I want my writers to feel safe when they submit an article to me, whatever it is they’re sending, it’s encrypted.
    How can I do this?
I too noticed the BLOG redirects to a non-SSL URL.

Wait a sec.. this solution works only for an SSL ONLY site.
I want SSL the backend submission process…while keeping a public portion open.
This only solves part of the problem. I don’t want to force readers to go to SSL if I don’t have to.
