Someone please help me understand the ‘force rewrite titles’ setting, it seems pointless to me. I’m assuming it is there in case the theme being used doesn’t have a call to wp_title() (as it should) allowing the plugin to hook into the title. But the setting adds another title element after the theme’s title element which does nothing since the browser uses the first element found. Shouldn’t this be injected BEFORE to be affective? I realize it is put in at the time wp_head() is called and there isn’t a sooner action the plugin could possibly hook to, but what about changing the title with Javascript after the page is rendered? I don’t think this is a bug because I’m sure it would have been addressed long ago, but I wasn’t able to find any information as to why this is how the plugin operates. Anyone know? Thanks!
