 * [@dominiccadle95](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dominiccadle95/) The option
   will only work if you have SSL installed on your server, Do you SSL certificate
   installed on the server?

 * Here is one example: [https://involveddigital.com/](https://involveddigital.com/)(
   if you browse to the http version, the http version will appear). Please note
   that this is the case will all our websites (all of them also use wp-optimise),
   and is the case across multiple servers.

 * [@dominiccadle95](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dominiccadle95/) I’ve checked
   this with our development team, the option is concerned with how generated minify
   assets are enqueued, either using http or https , to serve page
 * As mentioned in the option itself, it is for some CDN plugins not to force http
   to https, but to serve minify files in the source.
