    Hi Folks I am getting an issue that is affecting my website users and which is preventing them from using forms and maintaining their content on this website. I have tested and the following message is appearing periodically and I have established that it is due to the Clean Talk plugin

    *** Forbidden. You sent forms too often. Please wait a few minutes. ***

    Are you talking about this pluginhttps://marketharborough.com/add-listing/, right?

    Could you please let me know which plugin was used to build this form? We need to test it in our environment.

    Also, as a temporary solution, please enable the option “Use alternative mechanism for cookies” in the plugin settings.

    I also notice this in admin:
    Errors:
    2021-12-27 22:51:35: Error occurred while updating SpamFireWall local base.

    Press the button “Synchronize with cloud” in the plugin settings.

    Thanks for your help.

    The site uses the theme and plugins relating to wpgeodirectory https://wpgeodirectory.com/

    I have applied the option “Use alternative mechanism for cookies” in the plugin settings.

    Here is a screenshot of the error and this was on an admin page where users can edit their listings on the website (it’s a directory website).

    Hello.
    We will test wpgeodirectory in our test environment. It may take some time due to the holidays.
    As I understand the visitor must be logged in to submit the Add Listing webform. If it’s correct please set to Off the “Protect logged in Users” option in the Anti-Spam plugin settings. It should help.
    Also please set the Set cookies option to On or to Use alternative mechanism for cookies. Some of the request parameters may be passed incorrectly due to disabling cookies.

    We’ve tested the ‘wpgeodirectory’ plugin on our environment and couldn’t reproduce the issue.

    Please, make sure that the anti-spam plugin is updated to the latest 5.169.1 version.
