For Admin Only Pages and their Menu Items

    Hi, is there a built in way in wordpress to show certain pages and their menu-items only to admin users ? I tried the “By User Role” which is offered in the editor, but although I checkbox “admin”, the menu item still is being shown to the public as well.

    Help appreciated.
