Support » Fixing WordPress » “fopen” and “fwrite” are attempting to reach C: rather than my website

  • I have WordPress installed and everything is running correctly with the following exception. When I attempt to make any design changes through the admin pages or if I add a plugin and attemp to save configuration changes I always receive a PHP warning that looks like this:

fopen(C:\Websites\dumpitinthepump.com/wp-content/themes/grid_focus_public2/404.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\Websites\dumpitinthepump.com\wp-admin\theme-editor.php on line 49

For some reason WordPress is attempting to reach c: rather than the actual directory of my blog? How do i fix this?
