Footnotes button

Hi,

I successfully installed this plug-in. And I’ve been able to access and edit the button under Settings > TinyMCE Advanced. But I’m not sure how to insert a footnote. In my efforts, I downloaded and installed this plugin to add a footnote button (http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-footnotes-editor-button/), but to no avail.

Any suggestions?
