Footer width issue

Hello,

We have been trying to set the footer to 100% width without success. We did many things like added </div> and things like that that made the footer 100% but then put a space in between the sidebar and the footer or even worse on safari browser, the footer started right after the sidebar in the middle of the screen. The blog is located here: http://blog.gogax.com, can someone please let us know how to set the footer to be 100% so that the grey section will be on the whole width. The links and texts should stay centered, we just need the grey section to go 100% width.
