 * Hello,
 * I’d like to change the text in the footer of my site so I can put a copyright
   message that will show up on every page. I’m not sure where to put the new text
   on the footer file as the text already on there doesn’t show up in a single entry.
   I’m worried I will delete something important.

 * You need to create a child theme first so that your changes will not be overwritten
   when WP is updated – see:
 * [http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
 * After you’ve done that, someone can help you with the modifications to a copy
   of the footer.php file in the child theme.
