 * You can edit the styles in child theme.
 * Here is the style yo edit:
 *     ```
       footer div.mythemes-social {
           text-align: center;
           padding-top: 25px;
           padding-bottom: 25px;
       }
       ```
   
 * you need to change the padding to fit your needs.

 * Thanks for the quick reply. I should have noted that I am not using the SOCIAL
   MEDIA toolbar. I made a screencast highlighting the specific area I’m looking

 * Related (as highlighted in the screencast), I would like to tighten the overall
   spacing of the SIDEBAR FOOTERS. Is it possible to decrease the empty space:

   above the TITLE of the FOOTER SIDEBARS — below the TITLE OF the FOOTER SIDEBARS
