• I’m working on this site, and I’ve separated the <footer> code from the <body> code so that I could give it a custom background wider than the main body canvas. It looks fine when the browser window is plenty wide for the page, but when the browser window is too narrow, the footer appears obviously disconnected from the main body.

Is it possible to maintain my footer code outside the main body, but have it always appear connected and perfectly in line, no matter the browser window size?

I’ve played around with different “position” styles for the #footer div, and “relative” seems to be the only one that gets it centered on the page…

Could really use some help with this…My client views the site on a little netbook, so with the small window, the footer looks really jacked up to him. Anybody know what I’m doing wrong?
