 * Hi, I am having trouble aligning my footer with the text above.
 * I am using the thesis theme.

   the theme’s vendors.

 * While I created my website with Thesis, I created the footer header via WordPress
   i.e.. through Appearance > Menu.
 * Therefore a WP solution applicable, I assume?

 * I don’t see any problem with the footer; you possibly need to describe your problem
   in more detail.
 * apart from giving general advice, this forum does not (and cannot) support commercial
   themes.
 * also, if this is a fundamental formatting issue, try to work with a browser tool
   such as Firebug [http://getfirebug.com/](http://getfirebug.com/) or similar, 
   to identify which styles you need to edit or add.

 * Sorry, the problem with the footer is that it doesn’t align left with the text.
 * And therefore looks a bit odd.

 * caused by the left padding in this style in custom.css:
 * `.custom .menu { padding: 0 1.1em; }`
 * for these fundamental formatting issues, try to work with a browser tool such
