Footer in Bueno Theme

I am having a lot of trouble trying to enable the extended footer on my site. I have tried to add different things to the widget “footer” area like a calendar / archives or even just text and I can’t seem to get anything to work. I’m afraid that I’ve messed something up with the footer function as a result of trying to fix another part of the site. Please take a look and let me know if you can shed any light on the situation!
