    You seem to have a bottom padding of 500px on the #main div making it longer than it needs to be. The footer is sitting underneith your content. If you want to keep the white space at the bottom and force the footer down, you’ll either have to add a top margin to it or else place it outside of main.

    “or else place it outside of main.”
    What file and code would I modify??

    Thanks so much

    in your page template you could move your footer outside of <div id=”main”>

    Hey lady_moocher,
    Thanks so much for responding.
    The footer seems to be outside of the main, but I am not much of a code warrior.
    Here is the page template (page.php) code; Where would I move the call for the footer??:

    <?php get_header();?>

    <div id=”main”>

    <?php get_sidebar();?>

    <div id=”content”>

    <?php if (have_posts()) : ?>

    <?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

    <div class=”post” id=”post-<?php the_ID(); ?>”>

    <h1>” rel=”bookmark” title=”Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>”><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

    <div class=”entry”>

    <?php the_content(‘Read the rest of this entry »’); ?>

    <?php comments_template(); // Get wp-comments.php template ?>

    <?php endwhile; ?>

    <div class=”navigation”>

    <div class=”alignleft”><?php next_posts_link(‘« Older Entries’) ?></div>

    <div class=”alignright”><?php previous_posts_link(‘Newer Entries »’) ?></div>

    <?php else : ?>

    <h2 class=”center”>Not Found</h2>

    <p class=”center”>Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.</p>

    <?php include (TEMPLATEPATH . “/searchform.php”); ?>

    <?php endif; ?>

    <?php get_footer ();?>
