    Hi,

    I would like to add albums to my FooGallery. I bought the Pro version. I activated the Albums extension, but when I go to the Albums tab, there is no option to add an album. The button “add album” is not there. Please advise. Thank you.

    Hi Niti,

    I think you are on the settings page if you say you are on the Albums Tab.

    Please goto the main FooGallery menu and then click on “Albums”. This will list all albums with a button at the top to Add Album.

    Hi Brad,

    I am in the main FooGallery menu. I can send you a screenshot. I can’t add a screenshot here, can I? I went to this link to see how to use the Albums, so I know what it should look like, https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/getting-started-foogallery/adding-albums/#:~:text=Adding%20an%20Album,to%20show%20in%20your%20album.

    The “add button” is not there… I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

    Hi Niti

    That doc is the correct one.

    Albums are implemented using the built-in custom post type functionality within WordPress.

    The only reason you cannot add an album is either permissions (you are not an admin user, and logged in as a contributor for example) or there is a conflict with another plugin that is removing the add button. I doubt it is this though.

    Please check your permissions, and login as an admin

    I am the administrator. I still cannot see the Add button. I even logged out and logged back in.

    Hi Niti,
    Please deactivate all other plugins and change your theme, to rule out a conflict

    If I change my theme, is it going to mess up my website?

    So if I deactivate other plugins. Should I do this one by one, then go refresh the Albums page to see if I can see the “add button”?

    I started deactivating plugins, it’s messing up my website… 🙁 So far no plugin conflicts. I am afraid to deactivate the theme.

    You should not be making changes like this on a live site. A staging site is always recommended. I would suggest that you install the plugin on another site to see if the Add Albums button shows. If so then you know there is a conflict on that site
