Also, the navigation arrows are missing in Firefox…
Hi – I had a look at your page and there is a problem loading the font files for FooBox.
If I browse directly to the file : //nyirsegtanc.hu/fesztival/wp-content/plugins/foobox-image-lightbox/free/css/font/foobox.woff it returns a 404
I am not sure why, but your server is not serving any files from that folder.
Do you have any special permissions or settings on your server that would cause this?
Hi bradvin, thanks for the answer. My host says, the file is there, it is served and loads, if you check the icons in the CSS editor of Firefox, if you press enter after „content: “\e001”;”, the icons load… (You can see them in Chrome without problems, but the page loads really slowly…)
Hi @eszdan,
I’ve just reviewed your site in both Chrome and Firefox and it now appears that everything is loading fine. I’m seeing navigation arrows in both browsers.
Testing in GTMetrix is not showing any significant load time issues.
Are you still seeing the same issues at your end or have you been able to resolve this with changes to your site settings / hosting?
Thanks in advance,
Phill
Hi Phill,
no, I couldn’t resolve the issue, what I did was changing the galleries’ display setting from single thumbnail to masonry, and I activated Albums and I created albums with the galleries – so a totally different method, and yes, load time is okay now. Would have been glad if I didn’t need to spend days working on this though…
Hi @eszdan,
It’s great to hear it’s working even though you had to use a different method.
If you would like us to test the original method and try and figure out what’s going on for you please feel free to recreate a separate page with the original settings that we can access.
If you’re happy with your new process then that’s great too = let me know and I’ll mark this support request as resolved.
Thanks in advance,
Phill
